Meet Stephanie

The Legend of Stephanie Hope

Every great adventurer has an origin story. Stephanie Hope’s just happens to involve a natural 1, a suspicious amount of leather, and the realization that nobody had successfully combined tabletop roleplaying with dominatrix matchmaking.

Legend tells us that Stephanie first conceived Dominate My Dungeon during a particularly chaotic tabletop campaign. The party had been adventuring for hours. The barbarian had ignored the plan. The rogue was attempting to steal something physically bolted to the floor. The bard had tried to seduce an entity that did not technically possess a corporeal form.

Stephanie, sitting behind the Dungeon Master screen, suddenly had a revelation: some people desperately need to be told what to do.

She looked down at her notes. She looked at the players. She looked at the enormous collection of dice scattered across the table. Somewhere in the distance, a whip cracked.

Probably metaphorically.

Probably.

Stephanie soon discovered an enormous flaw in modern dating: dating apps asked all the wrong questions. What music do you like? Who cares? Do you enjoy hiking? Completely irrelevant. Stephanie believed compatibility required deeper questions.

Are you a Dungeon Master, or do you desperately need one? Do you prefer rolling with advantage, or being told you have disadvantage? When someone says “make a Wisdom saving throw,” does that excite you or terrify you? And perhaps most importantly, can you respect boundaries, communicate clearly, and refrain from arguing with the DM about rules for forty-five consecutive minutes?

Thus, Dominate My Dungeon was born.

Stephanie built Dominate My Dungeon around one revolutionary principle: compatibility is about finding someone whose particular brand of weird works exceptionally well with your particular brand of weird.

The world already has enough awkward first dates where two people slowly discover they have nothing in common while splitting an appetizer. Stephanie wanted something better.

She envisioned a place where consenting adults could proudly announce, “I’m a Level 12 Paladin with abandonment issues and disadvantage against confident women,” and somewhere out there, another person could respond, “Perfect. Roll initiative.”

To Stephanie, successful matchmaking isn’t about finding two identical people. It’s about finding complementary character sheets. A natural leader might match beautifully with someone who enjoys surrendering control. A mischievous troublemaker might need someone with exceptionally high Brat Management proficiency.

And someone who owns seventeen sets of dice despite regularly using only one might need professional intervention.

Dominate My Dungeon cannot help with that last one.

Stephanie owns twenty-three.

At the heart of Stephanie’s philosophy is a simple belief: consent is the ultimate rulebook. Campaign rules can be debated. House rules can be changed. The Dungeon Master can occasionally pretend a monster only had three hit points remaining because everyone desperately needs to go home. Boundaries, however, aren't negotiable.

Good communication isn't optional, and everyone involved gets a say in the adventure.

Stephanie also believes you should never hide your character sheet. Dominant? Wonderful. Submissive? Excellent. Switch? Multiclassing is completely legal. Unsure? Congratulations—you’re Level 1. Nobody starts the campaign knowing everything.

Most importantly, dating should be fun. Finding someone shouldn’t feel like completing paperwork at the Department of Motor Vehicles. It should feel like starting a new campaign. There’s anticipation. There’s flirting. There are questionable decisions. Someone inevitably owns a cloak.

And if everything goes well, you eventually discover treasure.

Stephanie began building Dominate My Dungeon with nothing but determination, imagination, and the sort of search history that makes targeted advertising permanently confused. She researched matchmaking. She researched tabletop gaming. She researched fantasy aesthetics. She researched dominatrix culture.

At some point, Google simply asked, “Stephanie, are you okay?”

She was better than okay.

She had a business plan.

Soon, Dominate My Dungeon evolved from an amusing idea into a community where fantasy, kink, humor, and dating could comfortably occupy the same tavern booth. Stephanie insisted that the experience never take itself too seriously.

Because dressing like an intimidating sorceress and announcing that someone has failed their Constitution saving throw is objectively funny.

Sexy? Potentially.

Powerful? Absolutely.

But still very, very funny.

Today, Stephanie Hope serves as Founder, Chief Dungeon Mistress, Matchmaker, Keeper of the Sacred Dice, and the only person authorized to declare something a Critical Submission.

Her mission remains simple: help consenting adults discover compatible partners, encourage honest conversations about desires and boundaries, and create a welcoming community for people who enjoy fantasy, roleplaying, power dynamics, or simply being dramatically informed that the Dungeon Mistress has spoken.

Because Stephanie believes there’s somebody out there for almost everyone. Sometimes you just haven’t encountered them yet.

Maybe they’re in another tavern. Maybe they’re waiting in the next campaign. Maybe they’re staring at your profile right now, wondering whether they should send a message.

So take the chance. Make your character. Enter the dungeon.

And remember Stephanie Hope’s unofficial motto:

“You can’t find your perfect match if you never roll the dice.”

Dominate My Dungeon — Roll for chemistry. Match with advantage.

Her philosophy

Consent is not a footnote. It is the beginning, middle, and end of every scene.

Her promise

Every introduction starts with honest boundaries, a negotiated safe word, and room to change your mind.

Her invitation

Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your dice. Stephanie will help you find the right next roll.
